Photo Contest - Rules & Regulations
1) Eligibility
a) The contest is open to all resident in Malaysia and aged 13 and above as of 1st February 2013.
2) Entry period
a) Submission of photographs starts from 1st February 2013 to 28th February 2013
3) Theme: Celebration
4) Prizes
a) Every participant is only eligible to win one (1) prize.
b) The photo contest prizes are as follows:
i) 1 X Winning Photo – A Canon EF100L lens mug, a photo print voucher worth RM30 and Travel Photography Book.
ii) 1 X Most Voted Photo – A Canon EF100L lens mug and a photo print voucher worth RM30.
iii) 3 X Consolation – a photo print voucher worth RM30.
5) Submission of photographs
a) Follow the provided link and “Like” our Facebook page.
b) Enter your email
c) Upload photo
d) Enter caption for your photo
e) Click “Enter”
6) Submission criteria
a) There is no time restriction or requirement on when images must have been captured.
b) Participants may submit 1 entry per day for the given theme. Participants may earn an additional bonus entry when their friend is also submitting their entry.
7) Eligibility of photographs
a) Photos and images created using digital cameras, preferably JPEG with image size of 1920 pixels maximum at longer side with EXIF data intact.
b) Images that have been HEAVILY retouched or modified or enhanced using editing software or by other means will NOT be accepted.
c) Both color and black & white photos / images will be acceptable.
d) The winners may be requested to provide higher resolution photos / images of their winning photos / images for verification and display purposes related to the contest.
e) EOS Boutique Subang Jaya reserves the right to delete, remove or reject photos that are deemed improper, offensive and / or inappropriate in any manner.
8) Image copyright
a) By submitting an image, the participant attests and authenticate that he or she produced the image and is the rightful owner to the copyright of the image.
b) By submitting an image, the participant attests that the image is not subject to any form of existing exclusive commercial or editorial license.
c) Image rights remain property of the photographer.
9) Judging / Announcement of Result
a) Top 10 most voted entries will be judged by the appointed panel of judges based on the criteria including but not limited to aesthetics, technical execution,
image quality and appropriateness to and interpretation of the contest theme.
b) Entries will be published to EOS Boutique Subang Jaya’s Facebook Page. The winners will be announced in early March 2013.
c) All participating entries will be eligible to vote or like for the “Most Voted Entry” during the contest period (1 vote per photo only).
d) All winners will be notified by email.
e) Judges decision will be final.
10) EOS Boutique Subang Jaya reserves the right to amend any rules and regulations without prior notice.
